Wrapping up Boston

I have to admit, I was sad to see our vacation come to an end. But I guess all things come to an end. The last day we were in Boston, we decided to get the kids souvenirs, and do the little things we hadn't done. We finished the Freedom trail at Bunker Hill Monument. It was blue skies when we got there. Then a big black rain cloud showed up to ruin that moment.

We then stopped to see the USS Constitution. FYI Thee oldest commissioned naval vessel afloat in the world.

We then went to the Omni Parker House for some original Boston Cream Pie. Yummy!

Then on to Faneuil Hall to get the kids their souvenirs..."Boston" sweatshirts. Of course Boston loved getting a sweatshirt with his name on it.
*Notice the side walk Matt is standing on...that is one of my favorite things about Boston... the red brick side walks.

It was a great trip and even though it felt short I'm so grateful to have that time to spend with Matt and to make those memories together. I can't wait to start planning my next adventure.
