Day 4 ~ Cape Cod

I have always wanted to spend sometime on Cape Cod. I didn't get as much time as I had hoped. First of all, it was about a 2 1/2 hour drive from our hotel to the tip of Cape Cod, (Provincetown). We started the day off with a Whale Watch tour and that took up most of the day. So, on our way back to Boston, we drove the southern part of Cape Cod, called Chatham. I loved Chatham. It was so quaint and right by the ocean. Ahhh! We found this cozy little restaurant called, Marley's. The food was yummy! I had Salmon and Matt tried Lobster for the first time. (I don't think he was a big fan of it.) By that time it was dark so we made the long drive back to our hotel. FYI! For anyone wanting to go to Cape Cod, plan at least 2 days to see everything. That may still not be enough time, if you want to visit Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Oh well, just one excuse to go back! ;)
This is a picture of the coast line in Chatham. Love it!

This is a picture of one of many lighthouses along the east coast. I love light houses and I was really hoping to see more...ah, another reason to go back!

We started in Provincetown, Cape Cod. We went on a Whale Watch tour. It was so neat. There we at least 6 Whales swimming around the boat, doing little tricks. It was amazing to be that up close and personal with the largest creatures in the water. What a neat experience.
