What I've been up too~

I have come down with the crafting bug. Since I do everything on a budget, I decided I needed to go through each room and decide what I want it to look like and then decorate one room at a time. Below is a project I started before Christmas, but didn't get finished. I was going to make it a picture frame, but the frame would not stick...or I was just too impatient. So, I made it a family plaque instead. I love it. (I got this idea from one of my favorite blogs: Shanty2Chic) It was so easy to make. *Purchased most of the items from Hobby Lobby and Wood Connection. I hope to post more crafts that I'm working on soon.

Time to update the blog...

2010 is getting off to a busy start. Kids are back in school, Matt is busy at work and I have been busy at home trying to organize my projects, goals, and dreams for the year. I have a lot planned for the next couple of months...Kamri is starting a "Kids Camp" while she is off track to earn some money to go to Disneyland. So, I have been trying to pull out some creativity from my brain and come up with some projects for her. We hope to go to Disneyland in March with my family. (I'm crossing my fingers.)
I'm also working on putting decor back up on my walls. We painted last year with hopes that we were moving closer to Matt's work. Since that has not happened, its time to decorate! If you have pictures of walls that are decorated, feel free to send them my way.
I've also started Preschool for Brynlyn with my friend Larae. I think so far, it is going really well for Brynlyn. She knows more than I thought. I love taking the time out of my schedule to do something for her.
I've been going to the gym almost every night to run and prepare for my 5k in April.
So...all in all 2010 is getting off on the right foot.
What are you plans for the New Year?

Best of 2009~

Looking back at 2009's year of events, I realized how truly blessed we have been. Here are a few of our years highlights:

Matt received a Sales Account Manager position with BidSync on March 17th after being unemployed for 3 1/2 months. What a blessing. Besides having a job, the environment he works in now is so different from past jobs. He comes home happy and energetic. We love it!

Despite out financial wows...we were blessed to be able to go on a trip together to Boston, Mass. WE love spending quality time Together. A week with no interruptions from our Sweet, Adorable children.

Kenistyn turned 1 in October. She took her first step on Dec. 18 and is now walking...and falling all over the house. I love watching her learn and grow!

No matter the ups and downs I went through this past year...I was always surrounded by great friends. And whether they know it or not...I love everyone of them.

Time Out for Women was amazing. It will definitely become a yearly tradition. What a great spiritual rejuvenation

...And through it all, we are still together and we are still a Happy Family!
