Our Fall Foilage Trip Oct. 2-8, 2009

Matt and I had some, "Use them or Lose them" flights on Jetblue. So, back in April I booked us flights to go to Boston, Mass. I have always wanted to see the "Fall Foliage" and Cape Cod. It was such a fun trip. I love traveling with Matt. I enjoyed just being with him and not having to stop a conversation because of interruptions from kids. :)
Here is our trip day by day...

We arrived in Boston on Friday, Oct. 2. We checked into the hotel and then decided to walk around. We were so close to all the colleges...Boston University, MIT, Harvard, Cambridge. So, there were college students everywhere. I felt old.

Then, we walked to Fenway Park and took a tour of the stadium. It was pretty exciting, I must say. The fans of the Red Sox are...somewhat crazy, no offense! But, they take their baseball very serious. I'm so glad Matt didn't wear any Yankee apparel. The Red Sox weren't even playing the Yankees, but there were still people wearing "Yankee Hater" shirts and had face paint that said Yankees stink. It was crazy.

Later that night we got to see the Red Sox play the Cleveland Indians. The Red Sox won, 6-2. Thank Goodness. I didn't want to stick around if they had lost.

In the back ground of this picture is the famous, "Green Monster." Even though this wasn't Yankee Stadium, I know Matt still enjoyed it. I even saw him rooting for the Red Sox.
So, that was our first day in Boston.
