Life's a Beach!

We haven't taken a summer vacation this year, but we've been doing some fun stuff just in the valley. Last week we went to Day Break and hung out at the beach. It was a little crowded, but it was nice to have a place to take my kids where they could get wet and play in the sand. The weather was nice. It didn't feel as hot as it was...I ended up with sunburn shoulders. Ouch!

Done, Finished, Complete!!!

Finally, after 2 months of working on Haverhill I finally mailed my stuff back to Canada on Monday and downloaded all my 85 pictures. What a relief to get that done. I had until July 24th to get it back to Haverhill and I thought at one point I wasn't going to make it.
I have to thank everyone that helped me along the way...Jill Johnson, my sweet sister and sister-in-law and my mom for letting me come into your homes and take over for a little bit. I also have to thank Matt. What an amazing husband. He helped me every step of the way and believed in me when I wanted to give up. Thank You!
Now, I just have to wait and see how well I did.

I meant to do this 2 days ago when it was your birthday. I'm sorry, I have been so preoccupied with Haverhill.

I hope you had a great day. It was fun to take you to see Harry Potter and to go out to dinner. I love you so much and I'm truly grateful to have you as my oldest daughter. You are such a great helper to me.

For our 4th of July, we went down to my brother and sister-in-laws in Spanish Fork, Friday night and had a "Hot Dog Roast." It was yummy. It was also relaxing, just letting the kids play while the grown ups sat back and relaxed. Later, my brother set off and amazing fire work show! ;)

Saturday we got the house cleaned and the cars wash. Not very exciting, but it made me happy to get those things done. Later that night we had some friends over from our ward. It was alot of fun. They brought their Wii and I found out I have no balance. (Better work on that).

So, all in all it was a pretty relaxing 4th. Hope it was for the rest of you too.

Need for Change...

I can't decide what to do with my hair. Its really at an awkward stage and Kenistyn loves to pull on it. So, I am debating on whether to keep growing it out and deal with Kenistyn, or do I cut it like it was about 5 years ago. I need help. It's nice to have other people's opinion...I already know Matt's, so no need to ask him. What's your advice?
