I remember this day very vividly. I was getting ready for work and I had the TV on and a breaking news story interrupted the show and I remember taking Kamri and just hugging her. I cried all the way to work. I thought, "how sad" for all those people. When I got to work we turned on the TV and watched as the second airplane crashed into the Tower. Then reports were coming in that it was a terrorist attack. We were all sent home to be with our families. Matt and I had a chance to go to New York after the attacks and stand on the hollowed ground. It was a neat experience. I'm am so grateful for the brave men and women that protect and serve us daily. It was a sad day for our nation, but at the same time, I have never seen more love and compassion for others from total strangers...All the money that was donated and the service that came from that day.
I know there are still good people in the world and I think it will be up to us to make sure this country stays "FREE". I know I'm just one person, but I think if we all have the same purpose we can make a difference.
We have to stand up for what is right or it will be taken from us. We have to be better examples to others. We have to spread the Gospel Of Jesus Christ. We have to do this for our children and their children. I am so thankful I live in the UNITED STATES, the One Nation under GOD.
