Wrapping up our Summer!

Its amazing how fast our summer break flew by. Here are a few things we did just before the kids went back to school:
I took my kids down to a little water park in Alpine with my sisters. It was a fun place to cool off from the summer heat. My kids just like getting wet.

On the day Kamri was to show her pigs, we were at home getting ready and Boston was dancing on the stairs and before it happened I just saw this image of him hitting the wall or the railing...2 seconds later he was on the floor holding his lip and screaming. Yep! He hit the railing perfect. It split his lip pretty good. So, Matt came home and took Boston to get 3 stitches and I took the rest of the kids to the fair. Poor kid!...but its like I told him, "if you don't stop goofing around, you're going to get hurt." Why don't kids listen? I felt really bad for not having more sympathy! Especially because I did the same thing when I was about 10 years old.

Kamri entered 2 pigs in the Salt Lake County Fair again. She really enjoys doing it. We even bought her a pair of Wranglers this year and some real boots. I have to say, she looked very cute. We have to thank my brothers for doing the majority of the work. I don't really like getting in there and getting my hands dirty. But this is a good learning experience for Kamri and she can earn a little money to.

We went to Kearns pool with some neighbors. It was so much fun. I loved the kiddie pool because Brynlyn could touch the bottom without going under and there is a big slide and play area. It was a little crowded though.
