"Ladies Days"

Whenever I go out with my friends, Matt refers to them as "Ladies Days." But lets face it, we all need to have our "ladies days". For the past few years, ladies in my ward have gotten together for lunch and to exchange an ornament right before Christmas. This year we met at Archibald's in Gardner Village. The turn out was few because of the nice snow storm we got that morning. But it is always fun to see the women that have moved away and to catch up with them. I love the friends I have made in this ward and I hope to stay in touch with all of them, wherever life takes us. And, I appreciate Matt's willingness to let me have a day to myself without kids. (The adult interaction is nice too.)

I was ready to come and then I called my mom who lives in West Jordan and she told me how much snow had fallen. It had just started to snow out here...but all I could think about was last February, getting that huge storm that shut down state road 73 and nobdy could get into or out of Eagle Mountain for over 15 hours. I didn't want to get stuck in anything like that with the kids, so I decided not to come. I was really bummed because I look forward to this every year. I missed seeing everyone. I hope that we continue this tradition every year.
