California~

We arrived in California Sunday night after a very long drive from St. George. There was so much traffic coming from Las Vegas. A 6-hour drive ended up taking 8 1/2 hours. But I can't complain when we arrived at our hotel. (I love Marriott's) Monday morning we got up early and headed for Disneyland. I told Brynlyn she could choose the first ride. She chose the Tea Cups. (Yeah) We ended up spending most of Monday in Fantasy land. I wanted to make sure Brynlyn got to do all the little kid rides, since this was "officially" her first time to Disneyland. (That she can remember.)

Here it is...

Okay, I got my camera back last week, but with kids out for Spring Break and Easter I haven't had a spare moment to blog. So, I'm taking the time now.
So, we left on Friday, Mar. 19. I loaded the kids up in the van and picked Matt up at work and we headed to St. George. We stayed 2 nights with my Grandma and Grandpa Boynton. They were so sweet to let us stay with them.
This is the kids and our van all packed up ready to make a long drive.
Swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's pool.
We took the kids to play miniature golf on Saturday in St. George. It was so nice to wear shorts and feel the warm sun.

Disney trip~

Well, I'd like to post about my Disneyland trip and show you all the pictures...but unfortunately I left the diaper bag under the table in a Carl's Jr. in Las Vegas with my camera in it. Yup! My camera, car keys and cell phone are all sitting in a safe in Las Vegas. (I didn't realize that no one had picked it up until we got to St. George.) I was so depressed the rest of the drive home. But thankful my sweet friend, Maria is kind enough to go and get it and mail it back to me. So...once I have my camera, I will post the pictures and tell all about our trip. I will say this...we had so much fun!!! I love that Disneyland captures the kid in all of us!

Disneyland here we come!

We are taking the kids to Disneyland in 2 weeks. I cannot tell you how excited I am. I have been telling Brynlyn for over a year that we would take her. (With Matt's lay-off it just wasn't possible last year.) But each of the kids earned and saved their money to help with the trip. *I don't think it's wrong to have your kids help pay for things. I think Brynlyn and me take about the trip everyday. We got the kids some pins to trade. I hear this is so fun! (Any comment on that?)

I would love to hear about your trips whether its to Disneyland or anywhere else. I love to travel and I also love to hear fun, new places.
(This is the last time we went to Disneyland...Brynlyn was only 6 months old.) I can't wait to make some more memories.

Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world. Walt Disney.

My Talented Husband~

This past Saturday was the Blue and Gold Banquet for the Cub Scouts. Every year we do a Cake Auction to help the boys earn money for camp. Since Boston is going to join Cub Scouts this year, we thought we should donate a cake. (The leaders recommend that the boys and their dads make the cake.) Scary for some. ;) But not my husband. He is a natural when it comes to making and decorating cakes. I have to admit, he is better at it then me. See for yourself.

He learned how to make "fondant." The whole thing took about 8 hours and we didn't even get to taste it...someone else bought it at the auction. :( Oh well, the next time Matt has 8 hours to spare, maybe he'll make us another one.

Kam's Kids Camp

For the last 3 weeks Kamri has been doing a Kid's Camp while she's been off track. It was fun and a great experience for her. We did a craft and made a treat every day. I would say it was a success.

What is "Living" ?

I've been thinking about this question and I wanted to jot down what my definition of "Living" means to me: Living is: Taking the afternoon and going to the movies with my husband. Living is: seeing your babies take their first step. Living is: taking a long awaited vacation. Living is: learning from my mistakes and not making the same one twice. Living is: having friends to share all of life's ups and downs with. Living is: going to lunch with girl friends. Living is: getting a pedicure. Living is: Finding happiness and joy in everyday of our lives.
What is "Living" to you?
